After their 3-3 home draw with Bedfont, the reserves bounced back to form last Saturday with a 2-0 victory at North Greenford United to complete the double over their near-neighbours.

However, the victory was over-shadowed by an injury to defender James Crockford who was floored by an assault from a North Greenford player off the ball. He was taken to Hospital, where it was found he had broken his jaw. We can't comment too much more on the matter at present as it is now in the hands of the Police but are pleased to say that North Greenford United FC have supported this action fully and we thank them for that.

As to the match, and the Woods took an important lead midway through the first-half when Will Hudson managed to deflect a Max Moore shot past the home goalkeeper. The incident with James happened before half-time so the game was played at more of a subdued pace after the break.

However, the Woods continued to dominate with the North Greenford in fine form to deny several goal-bound shots. The home side kept them at bay until the 75th minute when Jerome Cole latched onto a ball played into the area and finished clinically to make it 2-0.
